Herr Hitler has ordered that the Nazi Guards will in future be an independent organisation, the leader Herr Himmler having equal rank with the chief of staff of the Storm Troopers and like him will be directly responsible to Herr Hitler. who is supreme commander of both organisations. The Jewish Welfare Office has issued the first authoritative estimate of the Jewish exodus during the Nazi regime. So far. it says. 70,000 have left, and the exodus is continuing unabated. The Minister of Justice (Dr. Franz Gurtner) has approved a ruling of the Eugenics Court whereby foreigners are subject to the sterlisation law. but can evade it by leaving Germany. Two hundred sterilisations of Germans have been earried out since April. NAZIS IN TRIESTE. VARIOUS OUTRAGES REPORTED. By Telegraph—Press Association British Official Wireless (Received July 26. 7 p.m.) LONDON. July 26. The Trieste correspondent of ‘The Times” says that at Klagenfurt. Nazis attacked the members of the Heimwehr. killing several. At Rackersburg Nazis occupied the public buildings and hoisted the Hitler flag on the local prison, and at Witz Nazis occupied the Governor’s office.
