CONTROL OF IMPORTS
TRIANGULAR TALKS IN PROGRESS.

“The Daily Telegraph” says that the Government during the triangular talks with the Dominions and the Argentine, which are now in progress, suggested a schedule of quantities having the effect of reducing the total consignments of beef, veal and pork to slightly below those of 1933; the agreement to be effective during the period of the payment of the subsidy to the British meat producing farmers.
