PRISONERS SENTENCED. By Telegraph—Press Association PALMERSTON N„ July 25. In the Supreme Court, Sidney Harris, aged 38, a bushman of Rangiwahia, was admitted to 12 months’ probation on a charge of forging and uttering a cheque for £lO 4s 2d at Kimboiton. Robert James Grinlintou, aged 37, an insurance agent, of Woodville, charged with fraudulently converting to his own use sums of £4 17s 5d and £53 8s lid, changed his plea to guilty. He was admitted to probation for two years. Hemara Hoterini, aged 48, a labourer, who pleaded guilty to charges of attempted rape and indecent assault, was sentenced to 12 months’ probation.
