ESTABLISHMENT IN FOOTHILLS DESIRED. (From Our Parliamentary Reporter) WELLINGTON, July 24. A question regarding the establishment of demonstration farms was put on the Order Paper in the House of Representatives by Mr T. D. Burnett (C., Temuka) to-day. He gave notice that he would ask the Minister of Lands (Hon. A. E. Ransom) what progress the Lands Department has made to keep its promise to establish such an area on one of the abandoned farms in the foothills of South Canterbury.
