MELBOURNE CENTENARY
WANGANUI EIGHT TO TAKE PART. By Telegraph Press Association WANGANUI, July 23. Approval for a Union Boat Club eight to compete at the Melbourne Centenary hi,s been received by the Wanganui Rowing Association from the New Zealand Council. The crew is to comprise C. A. Healey, S. A. Healey, R, Gould A. K. G. Jackson, A. G. Moss, A, V Sheppard, A. Tonks and A. Mowat. The first four were members of the Wanganui eight to win the interprovincial race at Wellington at Easter, T. Ditchfield, who. 4 .was stroke of that crew, is unavailble. A reserve and coxswain have yet to be appointed.
