TIMARU MILK SUPPLY.
To the Editor of " The Tlmaru Herald " Sir—May I draw the attention r{ your correspondent, “Another Consumer,” to a rather pithy paragrapii which appeared in the same column of the same newspaper, but a week later, as that from which lie extracted the cutting you so kindly reprinted at the foot of his letter. The paragraph I am enclosing puts the matter in a nutshell. Would you be so kind as to print it?—l am, etc., CONSUMER. Timaru, June 25. [Enclosure.] “What’s in a name?” asked Shakespeare. “A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.” We dunno. The milkmen have a Metropolitan Milk Sill, the tobacco manufacturers call It price fixation, and the bakers call it stabilisation of prices. Probably, il Burglar Bill called it profit-sharing, he would be expected to play golf at Shirley.
