NOT HAPPY
PRINCESS MDIVANI’S CONFESSION LONDON, May 29. Ever since the marriage cf Barbara Hutton, heiress to the Woolworth millions, to Prince Alexis Mdivani, there have been rumours of domestic unhappiness, which have been unfailingly denied. But— It is now reported that the Princess has shut herself up in her suite in a London hotel and has tearfully written to her father complaining that Alexis lavishes more attention on the polo ponies she gave him as a wedding present than on herself. Her father, who originally opposed the marriage, is hurrying to London and will arrive on June 1. Alexis played polo this afternoon, and refused to discuss his domestic affaris.
