RIFLE SHOOTING. The Winchester and Hilton Miniature Rifle Clubs fired at Winchester on Friday, for the Burnett Cup. Hilton winning by six points. After the cup shoot both teams fired a friendly natch. Following were the scores:— Hilton.— L. Beattie 80. D. A. Scott 79, R. Meredith 79, H. Jones 75, W. Ferguson 77, total 393. Winchester. —W. Priddle 78, C. Higginbottom 78, O. S. Priest 77, H. Hicks 77, W. R. Pearce 77, total 387. Friendly match. —Hilton: A. Johnston 80, B. Patrick 79, F. Hawke 78. W, Johnston 76, R. Brenton 74, total 387. Winchester: S. Stonehouse 79, J. Smith 79, A. Cripps 77, N. Priddle 77, Jno. Cripps 75, total 387.
