PEEL FOREST
MINIATURE RIFLESJ At the weekly shoot of the Peel Forest Miniature Rifle Club, the following were the best scores off the rifle:— J. Jenkins 77. W. Jenkins 76. J. Rees 75. W. Macphail 75. E Foden 73. N. Pithie 72. F. Heney 72. Y. Robinson 70. J. #nkins won the silver button. A trophy given by Mrs Jenkins was won by W. Jenkins in the third shoot off. ST. BARNABAS GUILD. The monthly meeting of the St. Barnabas Guild was held in the Sunday School on Thursday afternoon. Mrs G. H. Dennistoun presided. Also present were Mesdameo W. E. Barker, Pyne, F. Claydon. W. Inglis. D. G. Rutherford. S. U’Pritchard. T. Smith, and T. Stinson. Misses G. Wright. R. Barker, R. Blissett, T. Wright, and M. Macphail. The treasurer, Mrs S. U’Pritchard. reported that the Guild had a credit balance of £l3 Is 3d. Various accounts were passed for payment, and numerous articles distributed for local needs. Mrs F. Claydon and Mrs W. Inglis provided afternoon tea at the close of the meeting.
