FLIGHT TO AUSTRALIA
MISS JEAN BATTEN’S PROGRESS. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received May 22, 7.10 p.m.) BATAVIA, May 22. Miss Jean Batten arrived at Rambang on Monday at 5 p.m. (local time) and left for Koepang at 7 o’clock this morning.

SPLENDID PERFORMANCE OF LONE FLYER. United Press Association— By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received May 22, 10.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, May 22. It is expected that Miss Batten will reach Darwin to-morrow. In which case she will equal Bert Hinkler’s time of 15i days from England. A message from Koepang reports that Miss Batten arrived there at 2.40 p.m. (local time).
