LONDON, May 21. “There are people who intend to come to Galway in July and hold a Communist Conference. I do not wish to make threats or to propagate a doctrine of violence, but I would remind them our rivers flow very fast” declared the Bishop of Galway, opening the Catholic conference at Galway. He added that throughout the world there is militant atheism and militant bolshevism. What was needed is militant Christianity.
