SHIPPING STRIKE
HOLD UP OF THE MONTEREY. United Tress Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received May 21, 7.0 p.m.) SAN FRANCISCO, May 20. The unions refuse to confer unless a “closed ship” will be guaranteed.
