The Gillespie’s Beach Dredging Co. reports a return of 38oz sdwt for 103 hours’ work. The Okarito return was 270 z 18dwt for 115 hours’ work. The Jones Nevis Co. reports a washup of 2780 z before the claim being closed down for the season. The return represents sluicing operations since the company took over the claim, at the end of November, 1933. The Nevis Diesel washed up 7oz sdwt for four days' dredging and four days’ benching. The dredge is now benched for the winter. GREYMOUTH, May 21. The Brian Boru return was 33ozs 16dwts for 107 hours.
