A WIN FOR MEYER. By Telegraph—Press Association AUCKLAND, May 21. A professional wrestling contest between Fred Meyer and Wong Buck Cheung ended after the sixth round, Meyer winning on account of his opponent being unable to continue after a slam following an aeroplane spin. Cheung had previously gained a fall by means of his own specialty “The King Foo Stopper Hold.” A large attendance gave George Walker a vociferous reception as he stepped into the ring before the contest to challenge the winner.
