NEW CITY LIBRARY PLANNED.— At a recent meeting of the Wellington City Council the question of a new building to replace the' present Central Library teas discussed and it was decided to obtain a report on the question of site and finance. Tile present, building, seen in the illustration, is situated at the corner of Mercer and Wakefield Streets.
