WATER BOTTLE BURSTS
CHILD SCALDED. By Telegraph—Press Association DUNEDIN, May 19. Ngaire Mains (9), living with her parents in Queen Street, was severely scalded last evening in a peculiar accident. Her mother was bending over the child’s bed, inserting a hot water bottle, when she knelt on it, bursting it, the contents badly scalding the child’s side. She was sent to hospital.
