Official complaints are reaching the Jockey Club that “there i? at present much rough and reckless riding,” said Mr G. D. Smith, senior steward at a meeting of the club. The meeting decided to republisn the warning isued in 1823, against reckless, careless and erratic riding, and threatening offenders with immediate suspension.
