GAVE AWAY £6OOO TICKET.
A female cook in Paris got into difficulties recently through sharing a national lottery ticket with three friends. In writing to her nephew, it appears she inadvertently enclosed the ticket which proved to be the winner. She wrote and explained matters to him, but he refused to return it, and she is now being sued by her friends for their share. People who have suffered loss through their own thoughtlessness will understand the feelings of this unfortunate cook. Many smokers, for example, cannot enjoy the last few pipefuls in their tins because the tobacco is so shaken about that It loses its original goodness. In every tin of Red Shield (dark) and Blue Shield (medium), however, there is a special tobacco saving slide which prevents the tobacco from being shaken about and keeps it compact and sweet down to the last pipeful. There are no regrets with these excellent tobaccos. ..
