ORARI BRIDGE
FORTNIGHTLY SOCIAL. There was a fair attendance at the fortnightly social held in the Orari Bridge Hall in aid of the hall funds. Mesdames C. Knight and P. Scott tied for the prize. Mrs Knight proved the winner in the final. Messrs N. Brown and S. Cullen also tied for the men’s prize, Mr Brown winning the final. LADIES’ RIFLE CLUB. At the fortnightly, shoot of the Orari Bridge Ladies’ Miniature Rifle Club, the following were the best scores: Mrs South 77, Mrs Pratt 75, Miss McLean 73, Miss T. Rule 73. Mrs Wordsworth 70. Mrs South holds the Cup for the week. A challenge cup presented by Mrs Wordsworth for the junior members, to be held by the highest scorer at each shoot was won by Miss E. Waters.
