PASSENGER MISSING
REPORT FROM WANGANELLA. By Telegraph—Press Association AUCKLAND, March 27. A saloon passenger, Mrs Hannah Wild, aged 59, disappeared from the Wanganella during her trip from Sydney to Auckland. It is believed that the woman’s home was in Australia. When the Wanganella, whicn arrived at Auckland this morning, left Sydney on Friday afternoon, Mrs Wild was seen leaning over the rail waving to friends on the wharf. It was noticed that she was crying. The woman’s absence was discovered next morning when a stewardess found that she was not in her cabin. A thorough search of the ship was made, but without result. Her bag and coat were found near the ship’s rail.
