HOUSES WIPED OUT
FIRE FANNED BY HIGH WINDS. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph —Copyright (Received December 14, 7.30 p.m.) LONDON, December 13. Driven by a high wind, a fire wiped out seven houses in the village of Winslow. The firemen were handicapped by the scarcity of water, which froze as it left the hoses.
