Dominion Meteorologist. General Situation —The recent anticyclone is pacing eastwards and a slight westerly depression is advancing on to the South Island. Conditions remain disturbed over Eastern Australia, a cyclone being located off the New South Wales coast. Winds.—Moderate to strong northerlies reaching gale force at places In and south of Cook Strait.
