SWIMMING
OLD BOYS CLUB. On Tuesday evening the Old Boys Club held a 50 yards handicap at the West End Baths. Results:—First heat: G. Moffatt 1, A. Morton 2, J. Bryce 3. Second heat: J. Wilson 1, J. H. Healey 2, R. Sutherland 3. Final: A. Morton 1, K. Moffatt 2, J. Bryce 3. WEST END CLUB. The West End Club continued its weekly series of events on Tuesday at the West End Baths. There were good entries, and a fair number of interested spectators. Results:— 33 1-3 Yards Juvenile boys.—J. Rendail 1. H. Pike 2, R. King 3. 50 Yards Junior Boys.—D. Andrews 1, A. Rendall 2. D. Elder 3. Women’s Handicap. 50 yards.—Miss R. Gillon 1, Miss J. Hurdley 2, Miss A. Keen 3. 66 2-3 Yards Senior Men.—J. Wilson I, L. Hunt 2, D. Gillon 3. Dual Relay.—D. Elder and C. Rollinson 1. L. Andrews and J. A. McMahon 2, L. Hunt and D. Gillon 3. Junior Dive.—H. Pike 1, A. Hooke 2, J. Drummond 3. Team Relay. 133 1-3 yards.—L. Andrews, D. Andrews, J. A. McMahon, A. C. Rendall. Senior Dive.—l. Gillon 1, Miss A. Keen 2, D. Andrews 3. At a meeting of members of the life saving section of the West End Club Mr T. Elder presided. It was agreed to hold the meetings for instruction in land drill and rescue work on Wednesday’s. Mr K. Moffatt was appointed Instructor.
