NEW THEATRE
AMBITIOUS PLANS FOR SYDNEY. United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received December 11. 5.9 p.m.) SYDNEY, December 12. Plans have been prepared for a new theatre for Sydney to cost £350,000. It will be of 14 storeys, portion of which will be for business purposes. It will be situated in Castlereagh Street. During a severe storm, B fireball burst near two gardeners at Bishopbourne. One lost his sight momentarily, and was so badly shaken that he was unable to move. The other man was chopping wood and the axe went spinning from his hands. A cloudburst occurred and Percival Blatchford (16) was drowned while attempting to swim a flooded creek.
