ATTACKED BY A FISH
HAND AND FOOT LACERATED. By Telegraph—Press Association NEW PLYMOUTH, December 11. Bruce Jonas <26> was admitted to hospital with severe lacerations to the foot and hand, received from a flsh 'vl"’e swimming on the Onacro beach last night. During the day barracouta were very' prevalent on the beaches, and it is believed that one attacked Jonas, and not a shark, as first believed. An operation was performed on Jonas last night and his condition is satisfactory.
