JUDGMENT AGAINST TUBLIC TRUSTEE. By Telegraph— Proas Association WELLINGTON, December 8. Adopting the report of the referee, Mr E. Page, S.M.. his Honour, Mr Justice MacGregor to-day gave reserved Judgment in the Merry case awarding Mrs Merry £1059 15/2 with Interest from June 30, and easts amounting to £615, witnesses expenses and disbursements against the Public Trustee. The action was taken on the ground that the rentals from certain properties were Inadequate. His Honour fixed the remuneration of the referee at £lO5, which is also to be paid by the defendant.
