FRUITS OF TARIFF
BIG WORKS REOPENING. LONDON, October 19. The British Iron and Steel Company :-.a5 decided, owing to the effect of the tariffs, to re-open the Cardiff works, spending £2.000,000 on re-condltlonlng. and enabling an annual output of 100,000 tons of billets steel bars, employing 1500 men.
