DECISION MEETS WITH MIXED RECEPTION The decision in the Nicol-Parker bout fought at Invercargill recently, met with a very mixed reception and it certainly looked as if Parker was unlucky. In the preponderance of infighting that characterised the bout Parker carried too many guns for Nicol, particularly tn the early rounds and although the Southlander did best in the straight work, in which he plied a good left, it was not until well on in the bout that he showed anything like his best form.
