"THE RESIDENTS of the Fairlie Township are warned that rubbish and earth sods must not be deposited on the road side of side streets. Any rubbish thus deposited must be cleared away at once. QN THURSDAY, 26th October, special trains leave Timaru for Show Grounds at intervals from about 9.45 a.m. Return specials leave Show Grounds for Timaru at intervals from about 3.30 p.m. The 8.35 a.m. Christchurch-Invercar-gill express train will stop at Show’ Grounds to set down passengers and the express train leaving Timaru for Christchurch at 4.34 p.m. will stop at Show Grounds to pick up passengers for stations at which train is timed to stop. Usual 4.40 p.m. train for Oamaru leaves Timaru 5 30 pm, arriving Oamaru 8.6 p.m. Connects at Studholme with motor for Waimate. Special goods train (with car) for returning exhibits leaves Timaru for Oamaru 6.30 p.m, arriving Oamaru 9.35 p.m. Stops w here required to put off exhibits.
