EXCESS OF EXPORTS. By Telegraph—Pres* Association WELLINGTON. October 19. The oversea trade figures of New Zealand for September. 1933. show exports, valued at £2,173,054 and Imports at £2.062.219, For the correspondmg period of Inst year the -igures were £1,512,796 and £2.155,530 respectively For the nine months ended September 30, 1933, the exports were valued at £31.838.793 and the imports £15,724.264. and the balance in terms of New Zr lland currency. excluding specie, £1,255,100. The figures for the same period of 1932 were £28.686.652. £17.065.6C3 and £9.092,000. For the nine months ended 1932, the values were £27.260.124 £19.098.029 and £6.826,000 respectively. The values recorded for exports are declared f o b., the values being in terms of New Zealand currency, while * values recorded for imports are current domestic values in the countries • : export, plus 10 per cent.
