Mrs Helen Wills-Moody, after being bedridden for nearly two months, is recovering from back injuries. To-day she walked for the first time. “I feel confident I will be able to play again and regain the national championship. but the doctors say it will be at least six months before I can touch a racquet." Protracted treatment for a dislocated vertebrae, left Mrs WillsMoody weak and she said the road to comeback would be long. She said she received no offers to turn professional, and had rejected a motion picture offer, because "I am content to live as I do now."
