ANNUAL ASSEMBLY. By Telegraph—Press Association AUCKLAND, October 17. At the Assembly of the Baptist Union. Messrs T. R. Page, J. K. Reid, and F. L. Smart, students of the Baptist College, were ordained to the ministry. Mr Page was appointed to the South Dunedin Church, and Mr Smart to the Mosgiel Church. The Baptist Jubilee fund was reported to amount to £2823. The membership was reported to be 8643, an increase of 431, the largest yet recorded. The Missionary Society's Income was £6260, and expenditure £6459, the deficit being owing to the high rate of exchange (£820). The Baptist Women's Missionary Union had raised £1338. The following appointments were made President-elect, Rev. John Laird; secretary and treasurer, Rev W. M. P. Lascelles; Union Council. Revs. J. Laird, J. J. North, J. Hiddleston. A. W. Stuart, Messrs O. 8. Wiles, D T. Power, C. T. Davistock. W. J. Bardsiey (ex-offlclol, Revs. R. H. K. Kempton, C. W. Duncumb, L. A North. J. K. Archer. A. Ahstice, W. E. Lambert, Messrs F. W. Gaze. H.
