The Berlin correspondent of “The Times” reports that no opposition candidates will be tolerated at the elections, so says a government statement. Voting papers will mention only Nazi Party, with a circle printed alongside in which the voters must make a cross; otherwise the papers will be invalid. It will thus be impossible to vote against the Nazis. It will only be possible to abstain from voting, or spoil the paper. Dope For Foreign Press. An official announcement reads: “Four Brown Shirts, who took part in excesses against the Swiss subject (Ruegg) and the Englishman (Hardy) who is a member of the British Embassy in Berlin, have been sent to a concentration camp. Those guilty of the maltreating of the American (Boelg) at Dusseldorf have been arrested and will be tried.”
