WHEAT MARKETING AGENCY

RESULT OF ELECTION FIRST FUNCTIONS OF COMMITTEE The poll for the election of members of the Electoral Committee of the Wheat Marketing Agency Company, Limited, closed on Thursday at 4 p.m., and the Returning Officer, Mr R. McPherson, now announces the results of the final count. The first function of the Electoral Committee is to elect four wheatgrower directors to the Wheat Marketing Agency Co., Ltd., and a request has been received from the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research for the Electoral Committee to elect the three wheatgrower representatives to the Wheat Research Institute. The Electoral Committee will also be required to devote its attention to the formation of an organisation which will be truly representative of all wheatgrowers. Matters in connection with the new organisation are now in hand, and it is anticipated that the Electoral Committee will be called together shortly. The successful candidates are as follows:
