TICKETS at SPECIAL EXCURSION 1 FARES win be issued to OAMARU from Timaru - Waimate - Kurow - Palmerston and intermediate stations on direct line of route by trains due to arrive Oamaru up to 11.40 a.m. on Monday, 23rd October, available for return up to and including Tuesday, 24th October, 1933. Return fare to Oamaru from Timaru 7/1 second class, 10/5 first class, and correspondingly reduced fares from other stations. Tickets at SPECIAL EXCURSION FARES wiU be issued to ASHBURTON on 23rd October. Return fare from Timaru 6/6 second class. 9/6 first class; Temuka 4/11 and 7/2; Orari 3/11 and 6/-, and correspondingly reduced fares from other stations. These tickets wall only be issuable by morning train and available for day of issue. On 21st OCTOBER extra express train leaves Christchurch 12.25 p.m. and arrives Timaru 3.38 p.m. Express train leaves Timaru 1.54 p.m. and arrives Christchurch 5.10 p.m. On 23rd OCTOBER express train leaves Timaru 4.34 p.m., and arrives Christchurch 7.26 p.m. Connects at Lyttelton with ferry steamer for Wellington. Special passenger train for Timaru leaves Christchurch 9.30 p.m., arriving Timaru 12.41 a.m., 24th. Passenger train taking passengers for Oamaru Racecourse and Oamaru only leaves Christchurch, Tfi a.m., Timaru 10.14, and arrives Oaffiaru 11.40 a.m. Return train taking passengers for Timaru and stations North thereof leaves Oamaru 6.30 p.m., Timaru 8.8, and arrives Christchurch 11.33 p.m. Passengers may also travel by this train from Timaru, to Temuka, Orari, Ashburton, Rakaia and Christchurch. The 11.15 a.m. Ashburton-Timaru train will NOT run. Usual 4.31 p.m. train for Timaru leaves Ashburton 5.40 p.m. and arrives Timaru 7.48 p.m. Usual 7.20 a.m. train for Oamaru leaves Timaru 7.45 a.m., Studholme 9.7, and arrives Oamaru 10.37 a.m. This train will stop opposite Oamaru Racecourse to set down. Usual 4.40 p.m. train for Oamaru leaves Timaru 5,4 p.m., Studholme 6.26 p.m., and arrives Oamaru 8.13 p.m. Usual 4.15 p.m. train for Timaru leaves Oamaru 5.55 p.m., Studholme 7.33, and arrives Timaru 8.31 p.m. Stops opposite Oamaru Racecourse.
