DAMAGE AND THEFT
SIX MONTHS' IMPRISONMENT. By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON. September 5. Leonard Walter Corlett. of Palmerston North (30), married, arrested to-day was charged, and pleaded guilty at Petone to wilfully damaging telephone cabinets, and theft. For damaging one cabinet to the extent of £l. he was sentenced to three months' hard labour, and for the theft of 9 3 he received a similar sentence, cumulative. On two other similar charges to received similar sentences concurrent with the above.
