AUCKLAND HARBOUR BRIDGE
NEGOTIATIONS FOR LOAN. By Telegraph—Press Association AUCKLAND. Aug-St 17. The Auckland Harbour Bridge Company announces that Mr A. Harris. M.P., is leaving to-morrow for Sydney and Melbourne to further the negotiations. Some weeks ago the Company announced that £1 r OO.OOO was available ill London to build the bridge on certain conditions. It says that negotiations have gone so far that it is deemed advisable to send a representative to Australia, as it is probably certain that supplies will be required from the Commonwealth.
