KILLED AT CRICKET
DEATH DUE TO HIT WITH BALL United Press Association— By Electrlo Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, August 16. That a fatal cricket ball need not be a body-liner, was established at Leicester, at the inquest on Edward Daymon (45), who died after being struck in the stomach during a match, though he continued the innings until bowled. A witness testified that the wicket was very fiery, but there was no body-line bowling.
A verdict of accidental death was returned.
