PERSONAL
The Hon. J. Bitchener, Minister of Public Works and Acting-Minister of Education, arrived from Wellington on Saturday. He spent the weekend at his home at Waimate and will leave Christchurch on Tuesday morning for Greymouth, where he has arranged to receive deputations in the evening. His subsequent movements are; Wednesday, In Greymouth district, returning to Greymouth for the night; Thursday, leave Greymouth for Ikamatua, thence Reefton, Inspect Reefton School and receive deputations, thence to Westport, receiving deputations at night; Friday, inspect schools, leave Westport at 10 a.m. for Murchison, lunch and deputation at Murchison, thence to Motueka for the night; Saturday, Motueka and Riwaka, and to Nelson for the night; Sunday, at Nelson; Monday, at Nelson, deputations and school Inspections. Leave for Wellington in the evening.
