NOTES.

The Gale arrived from Dunedin yesterday and is at No. 2 wharf where she is to load for Wellington and Wanganui to-day before proceeding to Lyttelton. The Waimarino is due to arrive from Oamaru to-day to load for Picton, Wellington and Auckland. She should sail for the north via Lyttelton this evening. The John has been speeded up and is set down to reach this port from Dunedin to-morrow. She is to load for V jllington, Wanganui, New Plymouth and Waikato before sailing for Lyttelton. The Port Whangarei has been put back till Wednesday when she is due to arrive from Dunedin to load for Wellington, Tauranga, Auckland and Whangarei. She should depart that night for Lyttelton. The Poolta, on the Wellington, Napier and Gisborne run, is listed 1o call at Timaru on Wednesday to load for those ports. Wellington and Wanganui cargo is to be lifted by the Storm at Timaru on Wednesday. The vessel is due from Dunedin and should sail for Lyttelton the same day. On Thursday the Opihi is scheduled to call for Wellington, Nelson and New Plymouth loading. To discharge and load general Australian cargo the Waikouaiti should be here from the south on Friday. She is due to proceed north via Lyttelton that day. The Wingatui should be an arrival next Sunday from the south. She is due to load for Wellington and Auckland on July 3rd before sailing for Lyttelton. Overseas To-morrow the Otira is scheduled to arrive from Bluff to load general cargo for the United Kingdom. She is due to sail for Lyttelton on Thursday., The Port Pirie is expected to arrive from Port Chalmers on July 4th to load meat and general cargo for the Home land.
