The west wind comes from snowy worlds that know not sun nor heat; A land revelling in the sport the ' Winter King thinks meet; It carries from this wonder-world the knowledge it’s been taught, Of chilly air, of blizzards wild, of storms that there are fought. The fairies are giving a party In honour of our Page, Which will be on Saturday, Just six years of age. The pixies and the goblins Were asked to come and play. And even naughty little elves Were asked to come That Day. The gnomes were rather timid, But said that they would come And listen to the singing, And laugh at all the fun. Laughter Lady was asked, of course. And Blue and Red Cap, too. And all the other fairy-folk, And everyone they knew. The party was a great success, And ended with a song, And I will tell It to you; —lt Isn’t very long. —The Page Is growing older, And larger every day, , And all the Circlians I know Are very blithe and gay. So come and let us, everyone, Loudly and gaily cheer Both Peter Pan and the Children’s Page. —Good luck to their Sixth Year! (5 Marks and a Merit Card awarded to “Woggles,” Sybil Dale, Albury.)
