LIVE SHELLS IN FRANCE.
Some of the former battlefields in France appear to be extremely dangerous places in which to live at present. In certain districts, it is stated , hundreds of live shells which have been dug up line the roadsides, the department charged with the task of disposing of the heaps being too busy to remove them immediately.
