ATTEMPT BY KAYE DON?
It is being freely stated in England that Kaye Don will renew his attempt on the land speed record at Daytona beach early next year. He will drive the Silver Bullet. It is also understood that Mr. Louis Coatalen, the designer of the car, will be associated with the enterprise.
DATE OF OLYMPIA SHOW. The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, London, announces that the 27th annual international exhibition of motor-cars, accessories, and garage equipment will be held at Olympia from October 12 to 21 this year. The international commercial motor transport exhibition will be held at Olympia from November 2 to 11.
A junk shop near a railroad crossing in Denver carries a sign with this hint to motorists; “Go ahead; take a chance. We’ll buy the car.”
