SWINE FEVER
DISEASE SPREADING. By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, June 9. Swine fever, two miles outside the area to which the previous outbreak was confined, has been verified by the Department of Agriculture, a mile or so from the Taita Gorge. Ninety-seven pigs were affected, and their slaughter is being carried out.
