MORE FAVOURABLE REPORTS. United Pi css Association—By Electric Telegraph- Copyright SYDNEY, June 8. The flood position on the North Coast is improving. The Nambucca river overflowed its banks and flooded the North Coast Road. Numbers of motorists between Sydney and Brisbane are held up. The rain has now ceased and the waters are receding. The rain has ceased in Western Australia and the flood waters have receded but many roads and bridges will be impassable until repaired.
