POLICE PROTECTION FOR DELEGATION

Extraordinary precautions are being taken to guard the delegates to the World Economic Conference, many of whom are bringing their own police officials, whose activities will be dovetailed into the general Scotland Yard protection scheme. UNITED STATES DELEGATES ARRIVING EARLY CONFERENCE WITH MR MACDONALD. British Official Wireless RUGBY, June 7. Tile United States World Conference delegation, headed by Mr Cordill Hull (Secretary of State), who took a prominent part in the Washington decisions, are due in England to-morrow. Mr Hull will probably visit Mr Macdonald at Downing Street on Friday morning. EMPIRE TO CONFER. DELEGATES TO MEET BEFORE CONFERENCE. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, June 7. It has been arranged for all the Empire delegates to the World Economic Conference who will be available in London on Monday morning to attend the preliminary discussion at 10 Downing Street. Mr Macdonald and most of the British delegates are expected to be present. Sir Thomas Wilford will represent New Zealand. The official delegates will arrive after the commencement of the Conference.
