VERDICT OF THIRD TRIAL. SEQUEL TO NATIONAL PARK MURDER. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received June 9, 12.2 a.m.) SYDNEY, June 8. At the Criminal Court, Eric Craig (26) was convicted and sentenced to death for the murder of Bessie O’Connor at National Park on December 14. This was Craig’s third trial. The juries hitherto disagreed. The prisoner, who reiterated his innocence, is already serving a sentence of twenty years for the manslaughter of May Miller, at Waverley Park.
