RESCUED FROM SURF
LUCKY ESCAPE OF VISITOR FROM INDIA. United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received June 8, 11.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, June 8. The Rev. Frederick Phillip, o£ India, and his two sons, 17 and 14, were bathing in the surf at Bronte to-day, when all were carried seaward and were in danger of drowning. Their plight was noticed by two members of the local life-saving club, one of whom, Keith Hendson, stripped naked, donned the belt and swam out in the heavy sea and rescued the trio and resuscitated them on the beach. The Rev. Frederick Phillip is rector of an Anglican Grammar School in Hyderabad, in India, and is visiting Sydney. He expressed his deep gratitude to Hendson . and a companion who manned the reeL
