MAGAZINE EXPLODES
DISASTER TO JAPANESE AVIATION. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received June 8, 5.5 p.m.) TOKIO, June 8. Last night the magazine at the Hamamatsu Aviation Corps exploded, starting a conflagration involving the hangars. Fifteen ’planes are reported to have been destroyed. The gasoline storages are still burning. The casualties are expected to be heavy.
