SALUTE THE KING
ANNIVERSARY OF ACCESSION DAY. British Official Wireless RUGBY, May 6. To-day is the twenty-third anniversary of the King's accession. Flags were flown in honour of the event, and a salute of 21 guns was fired in Hyde Park at noon. Their Majesties, who returned to Buckingham Palace from Windsor yesterday, are spending the day quietly, no special celebrations being held.
